Most people know the city because of Game of Thrones, but there are many more reasons to visit Dubrovnik. Founded in the 7th century, Dubrovnik is one of the most historical and beautiful cities in Croatia. The historical value of the city puts it on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites and its beauty makes it one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia.
The old city is definitely worth a visit, especially the 1,940 meters long stone walls that were built to protect the city from invaders. Now, anyone can visit the walls for approximately €15 and enjoy a unique view of the fascinating city.
Dubrovnik is also home to some of the best bars and clubs, so you will not be bored in the evening either. Dubrovnik’s Club Revelin is ranked 75 (2016) in DJ Mag‘s top 100 clubs in the world. But to truly convince you to pay a visit, take a look at my gallery of 36 photos that I took during my visit to Dubrovnik early this year. 😉 Enjoy!
